It's always a good idea to have a justified Sudan, but let me tell you this; South Sudan is capable of managing herself. This idea was put into the mines of Southerners to not believe in themselves, to not get away with the wealth given to them by God. It has never been any body's idea that South Sudan can not govern themselves but Khartoum. Let me give a very common example; if you build a house and manage it financially, would you let rival be the judge of your daily activities?
Most importantly, Southerners have noticeably been governing themselves well, better than Khartoum for that matter. Khartoum is in mass more than South. Look at Darfur, Omma Party, Democratic Union, Islamic Front, Communist, Elbaath, Nuba, Eastern Sudan, and all of other parties, all have no common ground. We in the South in general have common ground. Yes there are obstacles but are not made by Southerners. They are made by Khartoum.
Sudan People Liberation Movement brought peace, democracy and prosperity to Sudan as in general, but people deny that because they're resisting freedom and prosperity. It hurts when Southerners themselves are the ones that diminshing or not advertising their capacities. Instead, they sayings things that were planted by Khartoum.
My Friend, we may not have enough power, but South is the lead of Sudan now. Unfutunatly, our power have been highjacked by Khortoum. Believe it or not, SPLM leadership believes a complax vission and Khartoum knows that, you should too. So, when we talk about unity, we should talk about harmony and justice first, not who qualifies.
Should we have harmony in the long run, then we could still come back just as Eastern German did. Nothing is wrong with that. By the way, Germans united after so many resolutions were made and as a consequence, they united.

Hi all
For me separation is short term solution for south to develop herself economically, infrastructures, and socially and if we become equally to our northern opponets than the option is to grade down the south-north border like what was done to Berlin wall and a new sudan with equality, justice, freedom and diversity will exist.
I dream of one sudan which will be call New Sudan, if you don't like that new sudan chew it.
